Vazo (Vazgen Pahlavuni Tadevosyan) was born in 1955 in Gyumri, Armenia; he now lives and works in Recoubeau, France, and Gyumri, Armenia. The artist, who works in various media, has taken part in numerous exhibitions and founded the ‘Centre for Contemporary Art’ and the ‘International Biennale of Contemporary Art’ in Gyumri in 1988. He curated four of the biennales himself.

He has exhibited several times in Berlin at the InteriorDAsein project space. 2009: VAZANparade (solo exhibition)
