Born in 1954 in Yerevan, Armenia

Ruben Grigorian studied at the Yerevan State Academy of Arts and Theatre and has been a member of the Artists’ Union since 1985. In 1987, he joined the group 3rd–րդ հարկ (3rd Floor) in 1987 and made a name for himself as a photorealist with a penchant for surrealism. His works can be found in numerous collections of Armenian art. He has illustrated numerous books and worked as a set designer in the theatre.
